I just wanted to know if you like dogs or cats better. I like both equally because they both have traits that the other animal does not have. What about you?

I enjoy both equally also, however, my kitty (fondly named kitty kat) is lower maintenance and thinks he is one of us.
I never really wanted a cat. My mother brought home an injured kitten and gave it to my daughter without even asking me. I was furious as my daughter was only 5. I knew I would be stuck taking care of a kitten who would probably die ( a dog at his former home attacked Kitkat & his brother-he survived minus 1 foot but his brother wasn't as lucky) and dealing with the aftermath in regards to my kid. On top of that, I was 5 months pregnant with my son.
Well, 8 years later, he is my best friend, sleeps at the foot of my bed one night, my daughter's the next, then my son's after that!, is the best "guard-dog" that I ever had, and loves to watch me cook!!!
okay, maybe I'm bias---let me change my answer, I definitely enjoy cats more:)

I love both cats and dogs. I have 2 Chows one blue and and the other red, and also have to cats, one all black, and the other white with some gray and black.

cats are better you can go away for say 2 days and a cat will be fine whereas a dog needs to be walked etc

I usually prefer dogs but I've known some very likable cats.

I have both but I prefer cats..very low maintance and you can leave the house without worring about making it back in time to walk them

Both they show loyalty commitment and love even if you are angry with them.There is no love stronger than that of an animal to his people.....dog or cat.
