Think of it this way, what if the shoe was on the other foot. The guy has a kid and now nobody wants to go out with him.Women complain about the same thing also, about guys.Look if the guy is a nice guy with the qualities you want in a man ,then go for it regardless of his kid. While it is possible that he might once in a while ask you to look after his child, that does not mean that all he wants is a babysitter. He can always hire one using high school students or or other people looking to make a few dollars. So in the final analysis, only you can decide.

well i doubt he wants to use you as a babysitter, that would mean he is a shitty parent. i have dated two guys that had a child. it sucked! first of all you should know, they almost always have a psycho ex girlfriend of wife! its not worth it and i have vowed never to date a guy with a kid again.

When he goes out with you, it needs to be about you and him. That is all right if he has a child. Just shut up about it. As he gets to know you, he may increase his conversations to be about the child. But, it is overkill on the first date and a big turn off. I dated a guy that went to court to get joint custody of his 2 daughters from a one night stand. He kept emphasizing how important they are too him, how he lives for them, and how he stays straight for them. How pathetic. Apparently he never went to college and has nothing else to do. They are more important things in life besides children. Single parents are a piece of work. That is why they should just date each other, instead of boring us to death. Save the Father of the Year speech for someone who wants to hear it.

OMG Please don't do it, babysitting are just one of the many thing you will have to put up with, he's going to have to go over to her house, 9 times out of 10 he's going to still be hitting it, then comes the time when you both are there with the kid, and if the kid dose anything wrong, and you tell the kid no are don't do that, this will come up, you don't tell my kid what to do you are not his mom....... Trust me i know been there.

It can be true, be careful. But I think if he's a genuine guy, him having a kid is no big deal.
