Please, I would appreciate prayers for his physical and emotional health. His liver is injured due to a massive, toxic overdose of Tylenol.

And for anyone considering taking a bunch of over-the-counter medication (like Tylenol) to get some attention or use it as a cry for help...please don't. You don't want to be sitting on a liver transplant service.

Jeremiah 17:14-15 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.

1st Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Deuteronomy 32:39 Don't you understand? I am the only God; there are no others. I am the one who takes life and gives it again.... now I will heal you, and nothing can stop Me!

Psalm 34:17 When his people pray for help, He listens and rescues them from their troubles.

Psalm 6:2-4 Have pity on me and heal my feeble body. My bones tremble with fear, and I am in deep distress. How long will it be? Turn and come to my rescue. Show your wonderful love and save me, LORD.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is there to rescue all who are discouraged and have given up hope.

Father God, YOU are mighty and able when we are hurting, weak and damaged. YOU are our hedge of protection that cannot be crossed by any enemy - including the demon of depression. YOU are mighty and to be praised, for ONLY You can heal us completely and miraculously. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer.

Father, for this woman's dear son, I ask for healing of his spirit, of his mind, of his broken heart and of his damaged body. Give him strength to face what is to come. Give his doctors wisdom, and send Ministers to give words of Your comfort, Your truth and Your love to speak to this family's hurting hearts. Bind up all of their broken hearts.

Father - send Your Holy Spirit to inhabit their presence - and send wise people to participate in all of their care. In Jesus' Holy name, AMEN.

Peace.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. I will definitely say a prayer for him.

______
I work in a hospital and I see the result of suicide and addicts all the time. Often times these people have had a bad life or just feel lost. Plus mental illness can manifest in the 20s, this is especially true for men. Just because someone has a mental illness, doesn't necessarily mean that they are going to be suicidal. Be patient with him, don't ask him a bunch of question like "why did you do it". Let him tell you when he is ready. If he asked why am I suffering, don't preach but give him an answer (or suggestion) none the less. Don't avoid the question. Use the bible as a guide or if you prefer use a self help book.

As a Mom, I can tell you that I have walked and am walking down the transplantation road....NO, it is not something anyone would want "to be sitting on." My daughter needs a transplant (kidney) and that causes me to have great empathy, for your situation!

In as much, know that my prayers are going to be with him and all the family as this is a tragedy for all. However, we have faith and we have HOPE, through prayer, with the Lord! I am praying for strength for all of you and for God's peace to dwell within your hearts. I pray that God will speak to your son and that he answers to the Savior's call.

Truly, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your son and the entire family. God bless you and give you!

Yes of course my prayers are with both you and your son. I feel your pain as I myself have a son who is on a kidney transplant list. The dialysis treatment is not working for him and his only hope is to find a donor before his time runs out.
I am not an eligible donor so it is out of my hands. Let's pray for each other's child as prayer in numbers is very effective.
GOD bless and be with you and your son in your time of need.

Yes, Tylenol is very dangerious. The doctors can pump your stomach and then a week later you can die of liver failure. Tylenol is very hard on the liver. A person should also never drink liquor and take Tylenol at the same time as both liquor and Tylenol are hard on the liver.

I will pray for your son.

With all the good response to this request I will keep your family in my prayers and it is in the Lords hands to do His Will.
This is good information for those abusing the use of Tylenol or any other medications. May God strengthen you emotionally and physically and be with your son during this time.
God Bless

Lord,
Touch this Man from head to toe and We pray His Liver be restored In Jesus's Mighty Name. What ever his mind and thoughts are on I pray that you would stop them and have Them turned to You - You are the only one that can fill that Void in His Life.
Father God We ask your Will be done in this Boy's Life and Let Him arise and Tell of what you done.

We ask this In Jesus Mighty Name,
AMEN!!

hi i am sorry to hear about your situation but remember that God can do all things. I have been going thru some things but i know that God does love me and he does care. Through the encouragement of others i also know that he does hear prayers.Isaiah 59:1 tells us that there is no one he cannot save and that his ear is not too heavy that it cannot hear. I will pray for your son,and you hold on.

Look at all of the people praying! God said if 2 or more come together, whatever you ask for will be done. I stand on that promise and will pray for your son and your family. God bless you all.

This has to be so painful for you...as a mother! I will pray for him and for you....that God will make something good come from this, that He will give you both comfort and protection, and that His healing hand will be on your son.
