I do understand. Generally after the wining and dining stops, the newest of the sex wears off, and the polite, generous personality leaves-then the nagging starts= time to go!

I suggest you find a mate that will keep the relationship alive and you all agree to just work at it.

Probably because you haven't found the right person. After about that long, the whole "honeymoon" phase starts to wear off, and you start to see the person for who they really are. You also develop a certain amount of comfort with them and stop trying to win each other over. Basically, you lose the feeling of "the chase" cause you know you "have them". But if you find someone really worthwhile, I don't think you'll lose interest so soon.

I think maybe its because you haven't found someone that you are really interested in. You may think you have, but if you are losing interest after 7 or 8 months, than you haven't found the right person yet.

if you get bored, then it's my opinion that you're not ready for a committment.. plain and simple.

there is nothing wrong with dating... and if you want to go out with someone, do it... if you want to go out with more than one girl then do that too. you can always tell dates that you are interested in making friends, and not into a committment right now.

just because we exist doesn't mean we have to be in a relationship all the time. enjoy being single, if that's what you want. and take care.

sounds like we're in the same boat....along with most every other guy out there. Guys need things to keep moving in order to stay interested. If you're just standing still, you're sure to get bored.
