Starting in Genesis it relates that Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. Only the flesh with it SOUL---its BLOOD YOU must not eat Genesis 9:3&4
Then compare Leviticus 17:13-16 to Acts 15:19&20
They both Old and New testiment agree ant animal used for food should be properly bleed. Any animal with whole blood or some blood left inside should NOT be eaten
Steak juice in USDA food relulated meat is NOT blood in whole or part. These animals have been properly bleed before preparing as food.
Last look at Hebrews 9:11-14&22 is shows how sacred blood is and why we should not injest blood products.
So as in the New testiment which Jesus fulfilled and completed the Old testiment...,ONLY that which has not been properly bleed is what we must abstain from.

There were a lot of dietary restriction in the torah (Old Testament). However, these dietary restrictions were dispensed with in the early Christian church at the Council of Jerusalem. However, St. Peter ruled that there was one restriction: Christians could not eat meat sacrificed to idols. (Acts Chapter 15).

This means that christians had to slaughter their own animals. The Roman pagans would offer the blood of the animals they slaughtered to the Roman gods before they sold the meat in the shops.

anything boiled in the milk of its mother

disagree all you like, I know all food was made clean - the point is that this is an unusually cruel way to kill an animal - in the very thing that gave it nourishment.

It isn't because it is unclean, but because it would be cruel. Anything that is similarly cruel we should not do. Just because we have dominion over the animals does not give us the right to be cruel, it goes against everything that we have been taught in the Bible.

Leviticus chapter 11 was the OT law But Jesus made all food clean here ...

Mark 7:14-23: “Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, ‘Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a man can make him unclean by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him unclean.’ After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. ‘Are you so dull?’ he asked. ‘Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him `unclean'? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.’(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.") He went on: ‘What comes out of a man is what makes him `unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man `unclean.’”

You are referring to scriptures in the Old Testament. Now that Jesus has come He has made all things good. It's not what goes into the mouth that defiles man but what comes out. Make sure to take this in spiritually minded. You don't want to like do drugs or eat poison on purpose.
