This was written in the Bible just before the events of "Noah's Ark and the Flood."

Genesis, Chapter 6;
(1). When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, (2). the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. (3). Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."

Notice, "for he is mortal", ...has any man lived past 120 years?

Lacey, Methuselah was born before this and died at the flood.

God was speaking 120 years before the flood, the text is saying man had 120 years to mend his ways. In the previous chapters it listed several people by name who lived more than 120 years.

I don't think so. There was a French lady who claimed to be in the upper-110s, however, the details of her birth were sketchy. It is a common Jewish expression to say, "May you live to be 120." According to Deut. 34:7, Moses died at this age.

Actually, Jeanne Calment died at the age of 122 and I don't think she died too long ago either. She is supposed to be the oldest living human on record. Look her up.
