I cant stand where im living now, i just feel so isolated. Im depressed because of it, and i dont know how to convince my parents that its really affecting my life. It isnt a good location either. and they could do it if they really wanted to financially, but i dont think they really want to. It would just be a small set back to what we are now finacially, but i know for a fact that it woudl be worth it. Ive tried to convince them, and i tried to explain to them that i would be happier somewhere eles, but they dont really care. The place where i would love to live is so much close to my friends, and i just knowww that ide be happy their. I want to move so bad, i think about it everyday, how do i convince them?

Try talking to them when they're more happy or in a better mood. If they still don't respond, get a job part-time and earn some money. Save the money and pay your rent.

Money may be tight on their budget now so you'll have to start getting a part-time job yourself.

Hope this helps.

Well I was gonna say maybe you could move out on your own.. but that was until I saw that you are only 13....Do you have any family that lives closer to where you would like to go? I really don't think there is much more you can do since you have already talked to your parents about this...Just try to make the best out of where you are.. I am married with a daughter and another baby on the way and I hate where I am living too.. but at the moment we are stuck here... It just happens that way......Do you go to school with your friends that you want to live closer to? If not, maybe try making some new friends.. you could always arrange weekend visits with the other friends.

Are you talking about moving to another state or just to another community in the same general area?

Moving costs more than you probably think. You have to pay movers to pack your house up and to actually move it and most power/cable companies charge you to change your bill over to a new location. Also, if you haven't lived in your current house for 2 years then you have to pay lots of taxes for moving. If you are not happy and are depressed, you need to talk to your parents about seeing a therapist so you can figure out why you really are not happy.

You don't get to decide where to live until you get a job, turn into an adult and financially support yourself.
