I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a Hemi alot of people are telling me a Dodge ram with the hemi cant have a plow because its built for speed not power. Or that it will void the warranty. Is there any truth to either of these??

Yes It can and It should not void the warranty. Contact your dealer.

The hemi is built for speed and especially power. Put a plow on the Ram and it will handle any amount of snow. The ram truck would be the best to plow saying its so big and strong.

only problem with running a plow on a 1500 is making sure you dont go to big. You have to remember that there will be alot of weight on the front end so you might wana beef it up. My old man plows with a 3500 Ram and our plow squats our front end but then again we use a 8 foot V plow

Fisher makes a plow that fits that truck. I wouldn't want to plow commercially with any half ton truck. If you only intend to plow your own driveway it shouldn't be a problem. I would install an aftermarket transmission cooler on any plow truck. Use low range for heavy snow and watch the temperature gauge. I don't know about the warranty. Ask a Dodge dealer.

my father is a chrysler employee and is positive that putting a plow on your truck will not void the warranty. go for it!
