I am still new to photography and I need more ideas for photo shoots. I want elegant looks and I like the way hotels, furnished lofts, event spaces, clubs/lounges, and restaurants and such look however most of these places are out of my budget. I want the architecture or the different scheme of places like those except I don't have thousands of dollars to spend for renting a place. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Also let me add that these will be fashion shoots of people and the places are the settings. Something like a model or magazine shoot.

Uhh...
In South Beach (Staten Island), if you get off the boardwalk and continue to walk left towards the bridge, at the end you'll find a big pile of rocks. Sometimes, near there, the tide when its high spills over and fills the shallow area. Other times, all you see is the algae and stuff...

Its been about a year since I moved from NYC, so I don't know if any changes have occurred.

Oh! You know what you could do... got to the Battery Fort place. I'm not so sure what its called. Its the building that was supposed to be used 1 or 2 hundred years ago, but the British never came over. Or somethng.

Um. You can go to Richmondtown. Get some shots at the red school building.

These places I'm listing are all in SI.

Ahhh.... go to Curtis high school. Its gothic architecture, at least on the outside.

Most of NYC location have been shot to death (no puns). It is a very busy city. And most of the famous locations (or architecture) are impossible to take picture without super wide lens.

What most people don't realize is that NYC's skylines canNOT be taken with-in Manhattan. There are some great locations from Brooklyn, Queens, and even NJ has great view of Manhattan islands.

Good Luck.

Could you recommend a good restaurant in Terre Haute, Indiana?

My question makes as much sense as yours unless someone in NYC happens to answer it.
