It depends on the state. Here in PA it is 100% LEGAL to hunt coyote, skunks, foxes, raccoons, and opossums at night. I have night hunted one time. I was by myself and it was pretty eerie. I wasn't out there that long. It's fun to try.

This is a yes and no answer. As an example, in NY you can't hunt deer in the dark but you can hunt predatory animals such as Coyotes and Fox 24 hours a day.

Like everyone has said, it depends on your state. It is illegal in every state that I know of but that may not apply to you.

What does apply to you is the fact that it is foolish to hunt at night. You cannot see to identify your target as well. What if you are shooting at a camouflaged hunter who is getting into position to hunt during the daylight hours?

Check you local Regulations with all hunting trips. I just wanted to first agree with that. I would also add some hunting can be done at night such furr bearing animals such as racoon, fox, coyote and Skunk. Look up your state's DNR website and find out.
