1. Does anyone know of a great place to find plus size wedding gowns that have at least a little sleeve?
2. Also looking for a place that would sell such dresses in not-so-conventional colors. I'm specificly looking for a light (very light) green, so light you can just barely tell it is green.
3. If such dress is found. What is your opinion on the best color for attendant's atire? An outdoor wedding (with adequate shelter) is being planned. No date set yet.

Thank you sweet. I did look at that site and there were very, very few dresses with sleeves. I'm not looking for tank-style, halter, spagetti strap or strapless. I'm looking for a dress that covers the shoulder. I did see things on that site I did like though. Not for me, but for my attendants. Thanks again!

Thank you so much Catherine A! One of the sites you gave is able to customize many of their dresses in bridesmaids colors. I'm am pretty fond of this one. http://www.bridalonlinestore.com/store/g1018.asp
I really like the sage color offered in the bridesmaid's section.

Hi and congratulations!
Here is a site I found with lots of nice gowns, but I don't see that they come in light green. If you want that color, you may have to go with a bridesmaid gown. But, the ivory would be nice!! If your the bride, wear white or ivory! (my opinion, only).

For the bridesmaids, really any color you like. All colors go well outdoors! If it's a certain season....you may want to go with more seasonal colors -- darker, say, usually in the fall/winter.....lighter colors in the spring/summer.
Good luck!

Since you are looking for non traditional colored dress, instead of looking for bridal gowns, lok for formals gowns.
Also most dresses you can have sleeves added on later if it doesn't come with sleeves. Another option is to wear a shrug or shawl in the same fabric. For your attendants any pastel color would compliment your dress. You could also go with a darker green.
Here are some sites I found (just search for plus size formal dress there are a ton of sites out there):

I agree with Cory, I had my dress made for me, it was cheaper, and it was exactly what I wanted, if you cannot find something off the peg than having it made is an excellent way of getting exactly the dress you are picturing in your mind. If you are going for a light green then how about a darker shade of green for your maids, or how about a pale pink, or even cream?

I purchased my plus size dress from David's Bridal. I'm getting married in March on a dinner cruise. My color is pool, which is also a David's Bridal color! Congrats!

There are several ways you can go with the attendants clothes -
I would stick with black tuxes for the guys.
Some thoughts for the girls:
Ivory dresses with punches of color in the flowers - lots of greens with some orange-red lillies.
Apricot dresses with same floral choice.
Deeper tone of the same color of green with bouquet of white lillies.
Yellow dresses - deep buttercup yellow

You may want to consider having your gown made for you. That way you can pick your style and your color. Look online at the patterns - if you find one that you like that doesn't;t necessarily come in plus sizes, a good seamstress will be able to make the adjustments you'll need.
