Vegans do not eat/drink any animal products, like eggs and dairy. Lacto-ovo Vegetarians (most common) have eggs and dairy, Lacto Vegetarians - have dairy, but no eggs, while Ovo Vegetarians just have eggs, and no dairy/meat.

A vegetarian is someone who does not red meat at all but may eat chicken or fish.
A vegan however is someone who does not consume any animal products at all. They only eat fruits and vegetables.

Veganism is a lifestyle, not just what you eat. Vegans don’t wear leather, fur, or wool, buy products from companies that conduct non-required animal toxicity tests:

Or frequent zoos, rodeos, circuses, or other places where animals are held in captivity or forced to perform.
