Dear one - I loved Estroven, but since I order my vitamins direct from the American Manufacturer "Puritan's Pride," I began using one of their products called "Flash Fighters," and it is Amazing!
They send me a catalog and can be found online under that name as well.
Supplement Facts: Serving Size 3 Tablets
(I am 44 with severe Endomitriosis... I take only one a day.)
Amount Per Serving % Daily Value (Copying the Bottle now)
Soy Isoflavone Concentrate 2,100 mg (2.1 g) *
(Standardized to contain 3% Isoflavones, 63 mg)
Black Cohosh Extract 160 mg *
(Cimicifuga racemosa) (root)
(Standardized to contain 2.5%Triterpene Glycosides, 4 mg)
Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) (root) 150 mg *
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (root) 150 mg *
Vitex Extract (Vitex agnus-castus) (fruit) 100 mg *
Here's the deal... Soy is a plant natural - "phyto" estrogen...
But Licorice Root is ANTI testosterone. The AMA warns aging men against consuming Licorice, because it lowers testosterone production. It is the female version of testosterone that is setting off your flashes. Licorice root plus soy can help lessen your symptoms.
Pumpkin is a Phyto-testosterone.
I just thought I'd warn you with the holidays coming up.
Sweet Potatoes are Phyto-estrogens... but Yams are not.
Make a Sweet Potato Pie instead of Pumpkin and your hormones will bless you for it! (Use the recipe off of a pumpkin pie can... instead 1 and 1/2 cups of cooked, mashed Sweet Potato per pie being made.)
To contact Puritan's Pride - the site is:
http://www.puritan.com/
But they make a national brand distributed in stores as well... I think it's "Nature's Bounty..." but I haven't shopped locally in so long, I've forgotten. You can call their toll free number listed on their website and ask.
If you get their retail name, you can call the healthfood stores in your area and see about purchasing Flash Fighters locally.
Peace dear one.
(I know what it;s like to have to sleep with three fans and an ice pack in the winter time! You have my sympathy!)

Go the natural way....it's worked the best for me. Use soy. I drink soy chocolate milk. You don't even taste the soy. The Soy Silk Milk has been best for me. My hot flashes are about gone and the night sweats are gone. Also get exercise a few times a week. That also helps with menopause symptoms. Good luck. I know how miserable you feel. Your Dr. might prescribe hormones but our family has a history of breast cancer so am going the natural way.

Blessed suggested black cohash. A product called Estroven has that in it. It also has soy which acts as an estrogen supplement, to help regulate the crazy flow changes. I'm 48 and going through the same thing. After using the whole package my next period was much closer to normal, and I'm sleeping better.

i'm sorry to take heed to approximately what you're dealing with. I too be stricken by Endo and the scientific docs have referred to doing a hysterectomy, yet they have not yet. I actually have a chum who has taken Estroven (could choose to verify the spelling) and he or she says it is has rather helped w/ the nice and comfortable flashes and night sweats. i'm exceptionally beneficial you will discover it at a Walgreen's or CVS or rather any pharmacy.

Go to your DR and s/he will prescribe something for them. It helps somewhat, there is no quick fix for them. I been in menopause since 27yrs old and 11yrs later it still is a nuisance. I wish you the best of luck!

Welcome to the world of getting older. I am a male and my wife went through the same thing. She was only 40. The only one I feel sorry for, is your better half. You ladies can be very NUTS.
