You must receive an honorable (not just honorable conditions) discharge in order to receive Montgomery GI Bill benefits. This is not waivable.

If you get your discharge upgraded to a full honorable discharge, you can get your GI Bill back.

Depends on your seperation code. General under honorable does void many VA benefits depending on the codes put in for the reason of your seperation. Other than that you only have 10 years to use the G.I. Bill after honorable discharge, or retirement.

They will not take it way for a general discharge. Talk to the VA rep at your ETS classes.

Yes they can. They will take it away from you if you get kicked out for drugs or alcohol. Those are the only two reasons I know of right now, but there could be more.

Did you pay all of the years? If not, you may not have any GI Bill to count on. Other than that, no they can't!
