Acts..9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Would God chose Paul if Paul; would contradict Christ?

There is no conflict between what Christ taught and what Paul taught, only misunderstandings among the readers of Paul's letters and the Gospels.
The best place to start with this is:
2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Meaning, even back then Peter is saying that people are twisting Paul's words and do not understand them, or the other scripture. What is interesting in this section of scripture is the person who much of Christainity teaches was in some kind of competition or opposition to Paul is actually equating Paul's writing with scripture.
Those who teach that Paul taught a "grace and faith" alone doctrine and that Christ taught a "works" doctrine understand neither Paul or Christ.
Compare Matthew 5 with Romans 6 or the latter part of Galatians 5.

Some do in fact appear that way,but are not after futher study. It is many who get confused between the works and the blood teaching.Paul was not being and different than the Old Testement teaching but rather tied the New Testement into the O.T. with his writings bring the church into a new enlightment.

Please do not call it pauline christianity
Did paul die on the cross for you, was paul raised from the dead for you. There is no such thing. Jesus Christ called the Apostle Paul to be his witness and missionary. Just like you and me are supposed to be. Only thru the precious blood of Jesus Christ will you get to heaven. Jesus said in John 3:3 that you must be born again, who ever is teaching you this is a false phophet, do not listen to him.

Yes and No.
Yes in disccusion of law & grace.
(Christ is the end, not mend, of the law)
No in using both opening and closing grace.
Pauline Format of Epistles is:
- Greeting: Grace & Peace (from God & Son)
- discussion
- Conclusion: Grace (of "our" Lord JC)
Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and "the" Lord Jesus Christ.
discussion of both sides of law vs grace,
keeping with the Bible is all "allegory", and
both revealing and concealing the mysteries,
as the faithful "STEWARD" of the mysteries
The GRACE of "our" Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
Hebrews is the exception,
as it's a 'mini bible' itself,
with the same conclusion,
but it's drived from the OT:
Grace with you all. Amen.
As "his witness unto all men" Paul not only
writes more of NT than all 6 other NT writers,
but also plays the "last trump" it in every "epistle".
Paul does not write letters (killeth), rather epistles.
In most epistles he is titled as "The Apostle".
Pauline epistles include Revelation,
which is sign-ified with the Pauline token in every epistle,
written with his own hand, as noted thrice in other epistles.

Nearly all of it is a perversion of the teachings of Jesus.
The whole blood sacrifice Jesus died for our sins idea is picked up right out of Mithran theology. Paul just charged it up by replacing animal sacrifices with the son of God sacrifice.
This is just one of many thing you will find if you take the time to do the research.

The Christian community continues to exist because the conclusions of the critical study of the Bible are largely withheld from them. --Hans Conzelmann
"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and imposters led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." --- Thomas Jefferson
“The son-ship of Jesus Christ is the greatest fiction of human history.” (Lord Bishop of Canterbury Commission, the Spiritual Head of England, 1910.)
“The son-ship of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God, atonement are not the teachings of Jesus. These are all inventions of Saint Paul who never really met Jesus.” (Hastings Rashdall, The Theory of Good and Evil)
"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)
“There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zoroastrian mythology. In order to hide Paul’s plaigerism… Christians burned the library of Alexandria in 390 A.D. Books in that library kept Mithra’s original story of what Pauline Doctrine is an almost exact copy. Yes. There are many, many dfferences.
1. On the time of the coming of the Lord:
Paul says:
Rom.13
[12] the night is far gone, the day is at hand.
Jesus says:
Luke.21
[8] Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, . . . `The time is at hand!' Do not go after them.
2. On the source of the Truth and the true gospel:
Paul says:
1Cor.2
[13] And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.
Gal.1
[12] For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
Jesus says:
John.17
[14] I have given them thy word;
[17] Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth.
3. On the God of the dead:
Paul says:
Rom.14
[9] For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Jesus says:
Luke.20
[38] Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living;

No, and don't follow the critics of Paul. He was deeper than the others simply because he was more educated and spent much time with Jesus.
He was "right on" and much of his writings are hard to be interpreted and I believe many of them are not exactly understood and recorded accurately by the King James translators.
For instance, in Corinthians and Ephesians, the words "women and wives" should be interchanged..., otherwise it appears to have "men in general" being lords over women in general, and that isn't true or else would the statement "in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond nor free, male nor female be false and contradictory.
Paul taught the Jewish women and Gentile women to submit under their husbands in the traditions of public decorum and worship practices. Since the KJV translators lived as 'domiinant' in gender, they were hesitant to translate completely open.
Again, the word "servant" is used in Timothy and Titus when it refers to women, but the word "deacon" is used when refering to a man.
Both are same word in Greek or Hebrew..., so it should be rendered as deacon and deaconess or servant with either..., but that wouldn't sway their readers toward the true facts. They didn't lie, but did sway toward a bias of their own. See?
This has much to do with arguments within religious arguments regarding Paul and his writings.
Get yourself a copy (newer copy with numbered verses) of The Message, by Peterson. It's not to be used as a study Bible, but certainly will give you a fuller and bigger picture of some of Paul's views; yet not even he is totally accurate in that. Sometimes we just have to pray over the word and ask the Lord to bring us to a fuller understanding.
Sometimes knowing a historical view is helpful to know where he is coming from.
But that is true also of much of what is written in the Revelation. The letters to the 7 churches don't make a lot of sense unless you know about what was going on in those geographical areas during the time of the writing.
Don't study much from books that are arguing certain points of doctrine.
The most freeing things I ever read when I first became a Believer and Follower of Jesus was to read after a man named Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. He had many experiences with the Lord from a young teen and is without an equal as a man of integrity or without any scandal or doubters of his accuracy in hearing from the Lord. Try him from a Christian book store or from the library. He has much of faith and healing and understanding how we operate in relationship with God.
Good studying!! Grow and remember that the Bible is God's word written to us. The New Testament is the New converts manual for living; especially the letters to the churches. When you read, read it aloud so your own ears can hear the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing (not having heard) the word of God; so every time you read let your ears hear and faith will come! Simple huh? You don't have to try and have faith, just study and read it aloud. What goes in your ears and eyes goes into your heart and God told us to guard our heart with all diligence, for out of it come the issues of life. Guard it by filling it with the word of God and your issues will be godly ones. Smile
Go through the letters of Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colosians and mark down every time you read the phrases: "in him", "in whom", "in Christ", "in Jesus", and in "the Lord" and you will find out who YOU are in Christ and no one can move you away from the hope that is within you. Many people believe Jesus is who He says He is, but most don't know who THEY are in Christ and so are weak and faithless and have no spiritual strength and are always begging God for favors. That's a challenge to you. God bless your studies.

Well, Paul taught salvation by faith alone.
Jesus required his followers to act on what they had been taught. His brother, James, taught that "faith without works is dead."
