You'd need to have an amp between the sound card on the pc and the speakers. You could go with a receiver that has a built in amplifier or, hook up a tuner/pre-amp and add an amplifier.

You need the amplifier to povide sufficient power to drive the speakers. I'm not sure what kind of sound card you have, but I doubt it puts out more than maybe 10 watts of power. Not enough to drive the 300 watt speakers you mention.

You need to connect (with a shielded stereo cable) the earphone/speaker output jack on the back of your computer (some have them on the front also) to the Aux (auxiliary) input on an integrated power amplifier with a capacity of up to 250 watts per channel (but 50 may do). Then hook the speakers up to the amplifier. If you have a home receiver, this will also work - same hookup.

You need to learn about the principles of audio. It is not a simple matter of just connecting speakers. Go out on the net and get a course on sound and the science of audio.
