I'm turning 14 and I was rude to my mom, and she said I wouldn't be allowed to go to the next party I was invited to, so I said "It'll be mine I won't go to," cuz it was just a week away, she said fine that's what she would do, but I really want to invite a few friends, (like 30) and if she says yes, I have to convince her to let me have a separete celebration with my family cuz if I have one celebration for my family and friends, all my little cousins would be a REAL PROBLEM. Pleasssee tel me there's hope.

Theres one way to a mothers heart, the vaccum cleaner and broom. Get up early for two or three days and sweep and vac, then dust all over, then to really impress her wash the bathroom floor and toilet. She'll relent. No smart remarks, anymore, and sincerely apoligise to the best mom a girl could have! Say it, practice. Now your ready to come in with the kill. Ever so gently explain to your mom that you've come into your social era and realize that you need to bring your friends home to meet your wonderful family. Make it about her! Say you need to show them what a wonderful home and family you have so they can realize your a kid of quality. Ask her if you could plan a home event to symbolize your comming of age! This would entail her leting you have pizza and music and pop. She would agree to staying in the background. And you'll continue to vacum for good once a week and you'll agree to another chore to show her your grown up. Good luck, from an experienced mom

A party for 30 friends????? Whooo-eeee!

No way in this world would you convince me to having 30 fourteen year olds over to my house! No way. That is something beyond what one set of parents can chaperone.

Even if you were good as gold, I wouldn't do that. But, if you're rude, I doubly wouldn't allow it.
