I bought this knife a while back....?

it's supposed to be just a display piece but i want to sharpen it and i've tried sharpening it but it wont sharpen. any ideas?

If it is a display piece, it is a cheap piece. You probably wont get it sharp.

Go to Walmart & purchase a knife sharpener in the sporting goods or camping section, there are many to choose from.* Reasonably priced and really put a sharp edge on your knife that will shave hair.*

It all depends on what steel the blade is made of?
