Can anyone please help me?? How do we cope with a web love knowing that we wont see eachother for...who knows how long?

the amazing thing about the internet is that you can meet and fall in love with, and befriend people from all over the world that you wouldnt neccessarily have met otherwise. a lot of people will say long distance relationships dont work or its stupid because there are CRAZY PEOPLE ALL OVER THE INTERNET. dont get me wrong, there are some freaks out there, but my fiancee and i are living proof that these things CAN work out. we talked for over a year before visiting one another, and we had talked on the phone, and web cammed, and there was no possible way that he was a freak or creeper. you have to be careful most definitely, but dont think that this stigma that everyone you meet online is going to kill you or something. its no different than meeting a guy in a bar.. he could very well be a freak too you know!

The first thing to do when you fall in love online is give it time. How long have you been feeling this way? How do you know you are in love? Are you in love with the person? Or, are you in love with the attention you are receiving from this person? Have you ever met them? It is very different in person. You might not even be physically attracted to the person.
See how long you feel this way. At the same time, I would suggest you also date people that actually are in your life. People that you know from work or whatever.

Honestly? take a deep breath, shut this thing off you are looking at, and go get some fresh air and a coffee down the street.For every trumpeted successful online romance that flourishes, there are thousands that dont ever make it, and end up hurting the people, usually one of them, that are involved. Just try to keep in contact with each other everyday day for as long as you can.
The last thing you want to feel is insecure.
So just talk to each other as often as possible and never stop reminding each other about how much you love each other.

I was with someone for 2 years. Now I've broken with it. We cant do anything else. He lives too far and our interests are different. What a pity.

You really don't,I guess because it is all in virtual space...Sooner or later you have to meet them in person and hopefully they are the same person that they describe to you...(Most of the times, they are not). But good luck

if you really, really like him, fly up to see him. Love is love, ask him if he feels the same way. if he says yes, either fly to see him or make him fly to see you (in an airplane, not with your superheroe flying ability). He will go to you if he feels the smae way towards you.
