"Persecuted" is a strong word. If you settle for "criticized" or even "disliked" then you can be quite sure that no group of Christians have ever avoided the wrath of some other group of Christians. In modern America, persecution of all the dozens of sects and religious groups which have come into existence in the past one hundred or so years really isn't accurate as they have been pretty well tolerated (for the most part).
That is a bit strange is the some Christians insist that other people professing to be Christian, are in fact not! I think anyone meeting the provisions of John 3:16 is a Christian no matter whether I agree with the rest of their religion or not.

Not even the Amish, I fear, escaped persecution. I think everyone has picked on everyone else at one time or another, but that was usually because religious and political factors became intertwined.
Spain tried to invade England once, after the Church of England was established in defiance of the Vatican.
King Henry VIII did not start the C of E so he could divorce, as history often states. He did so because submitting to the authority of the Vatican, at that point in history, would have also meant submitting to the King of Spain. As the leader of an autonomous nation, he could not do that.
The Pope issued a proclamation that any Catholics who swore allegiance to the English Crown would be excommunicated. King Henry issued, in response, a proclamation that any priest he caught saying that would be hanged.
So. While it is true that all denominations have picked on others at one time or another, it is not reasonable to infer from that fact that religious intolerance and bloody-mindedness were the only reasons for that having occurred.

We Catholics have taken some persecution however, in general, we dissed out more than we took. We stopped when this Lutheran guy, Knute Rockne showed how to kick bible thumpers all over the football field. Yes, ND is down now, but look at Boston College! In the end Rockne converted to Catholicism, probably liked bingo and beer. When you think about it, we gave up Luther but gained Rockne. Catholics are better off for the trade. Hail Mary Queen of Victory; Pray for us!

I can't think of any one that gained power in the past that did not harrass or persecute other Christian dissenting groups.
Some like most Anabaptist groups(apart from Munster) opposed any form of church establishment or control by the state.
Rare is it for any ideological group to resist the temptation to persecute its rivals as.for example, the persecution by Communists in power of Communist rivals or dissenters shows.

I do even nonetheless experience compassion for my brothers and sisters in India, China, Africa and the middle East who face imprisonment or maybe dying for their faith on a daily foundation. If we save going we are going to be there quickly.

No. As long as there have been Christians, there have been other Christians willing to tell them (and everyone else) that they are wrong.

There's probably never been one that didn't persecute whomever they were able. And there's probably never been one that wasn't persecuted by whichever other ones were able.
