My boyfriend is planning on going into internation business so the language he's picked to be his focus is Spanish, he's loved it since he took it freshman year in high school. He calls me princesa, which is princess (of course lol) and so i've decided i want to call him something in spanish too. Any other pet names in spanish would be appreciated too.

Mi principe azul.
Mi caballero en armadura brillante
The above is for you knight in shining armour in 2 ways.
or
Mi rey. My king
Mi cielo. My sky (but it is refered to as as special way of saying my love but from the heart and that person is always in your heart. In Puerto Rico it is used alot. )
or
Mi vida.My life. but again a special way of saying how much you have this person in your heart.
or
Mi encanto. My enchanted. the same as above in meaning.
or
Mi amado. My love. but saying it to let that person know that he is your true love and is in your heart.

Don't you love to say these nice things to the one you love?

Deja de ser un caballero de brillante armadura. (Deja de rescatar damiselas en apuros.) There is your direct translation....

The literal translation wouldn't necessarily convey the same meaning.

I think the closest is principe azul (literally blue prince).

" Mi Caballero de la Brillante Armadura" is the translation for that.

"Mi Príncipe Encantado" and "Mi Príncipe Azul" are both translated as "My Prince Charming"
