1. I was born into a Mormon family - "under the covenant" is what it is called when a child is born to parents who have been married in the temple. I was baptized a member at 8 years old. Through my life I have had to gain my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I love the gospel, I love my Savior and I love being a member of this church. I am grateful for all of my many wonderful blessings... especially my eternal family.

LDS since 1979, when I was 21. I became Mormon because it's the most Biblical church. The Book of Mormon was a bonus.

i am a mormon.
i'm now 17. i was born into the church. my Mom was a convert before I was born, my dad was also born into it, but is today inactive.

i am a Mormon because i do know it is the true church. it's not confusing if you take the time to learn about it, (but yes it will take a long time.. i'm still learning things)

there's just something we have in our church. i can't explain it, but if I go anywhere else i just don't get that feeling..
try as hard as i might, i cannot disprove any of the doctrine in our church. i just know its true

I was a Mormon from appox 5 years of Age Until appox 12.

The wHOLE TIME that I was a Mormon I DID (THINK) that "it" was the True Religion !

BUT; I never POSSESSED God's VERY, VERY POWERFUL "Holy" Spirit !

I Received God's VERY POWERFUL Holy Spirit when I Became One of JW's at the age of 12

BUT THEN; "SomeHow" (I Know U) kNEW THAT ! ! !

I am.

I grew up in the church. My dad's family has been in it since the Kirtland/Independance days. My mom was a convert in college before she met my dad. I was baptized when I was 8. After my first year at college, I questioned my religion and the existance of God and went through a rough time in my life. Through various experiences, I have come to gain a testimony of God, Jesus Christ, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I am Mormon. I grew up Mormon, why? My parents were converts and I was a baby when they joined. Missionaries came to our door and started to teach my parents and they eventually joined. hope this helped! :)

I'm Mormon. I was born into the gospel and chose to be baptized when I was eight.

It really isn't that confusing- at least to me.

I was raised mormon. I am ex-mormon, it all started with my dysfunctiinal family then I was a black sheep with my pior group. the church sets up a system so a person won't leave the church (visiting teachers, preisthood holders ect) but I felt rejected by everyone in my ward, my gosh, I couldn't get anyone to even say hello to me in my ward, so this helped me to go astray. My patriartcle blessing just revealed nothing but crap about me, it was nothing more then a psychic reading and not a blessing to me. By then I had just about had it with the church. I left, it had nothing to offer me.
