There was only one original GT 350 and it was a Shelby, made from 65 to 69, it came with suspension mods and engine mods and only came as a fastback.
the other GT was the Mustang GT and it was just a option package offered by Ford on any Mustang body..

You're half right. The Shelby GT350 was made in the 60s, the next time GT350 graced the rocker panels was in 89 to commemorate the 25th anniversary Mustang. The dead give away was the dark red stripe that showed GT350 in the white body color. There are many "slang" terms associated with the Shelby Mustangs; GT350, 350 GT, Shelby, etc. It all means the same thing.

know of the mustang gt fastback(non-shelby) but all i've seen with gt and 350 in the name were shelby's. beware of frauds.
