Many of your posters are absolutely right.
The "use what thou wilt" attitude of modern spiritual occultism is about "You" and what feels right to "You".

It is not about any of the others who share this reality with us.

A Drinking vessel of any description( chalice, goblet,cup, etc) or a bowl of water or a cauldron which holds fluid .

IF you don't want liquid as such some shells will also work

A chalice is just a fancy cup. A nice glass might be closer in intent.

Yes, anything that holds or symbolizes water is fine. Use what you feel is right.

I use a clay goblet. I also use shells and riverstones to represent water.

Use whatever most represents water to you. Use your intuition, there's no "by the book" in spirituality.
