no. it happens because the earth is full of earthquakes, and the winds blow and temperatures rise or fall.

We as human beings are responsible for all natural disasters. This is God's gift to us. His gift is for us to prove our ability by keeping natural catastrophes from happening.

If God is responsible for natural disasters, don't you think he'd have better aim?

given there is a first cause of everything, there is your culprit.
this is btw the standard argument of the good one. btw natural disasters happen primarily in poor countries. therefore the financial damage isnt really that bad.

no.
man is.
Jesus showed us this when he calmed the storm while on the boat with his disciples.
When Jesus, in Kingdom power turns his attention to the earth, no 'natural disaster' will be allowed to harm mankind.
Adam, when rejecting God's sovereignty, brought about the current conditions of God not intervening on our behalf in the instance of storm, flood, earthquake, etc.

There are no storms or fury in God. This understanding usually does take time to come because there are "suggestions" that this is not the case.

in much the same way that God allows evil people to commit evil acts, God allows the earth to demonstrate the consequences sin has had on creation.
the fall of humanity into sin had effects on everything, including the universe we inhabit. everything in creation is subject to “frustration” and “decay.” sin is the ultimate cause of natural disasters just as it is the cause of death, disease, and suffering.

Yep, but don't worry, there'll be some odd reason as to why he does these things.
Rather than face up to genuine problems like this, it's easier for religious people to hide behind 'God works in mysterious ways'.
