I'm doing an essay would someone help me plz i need to describe new york.

Don't listen to the people who have never been there I live in New Jersey. same with New Jersey same with New York people who have not been here say bad things. I have been to NYC many time it is the city that never sleeps always busy crowded loud. New York the state is peaceful in some places It depends in the place were you are not just one. Same with Jersey.

I live in NYC it's loud, busy, crowded, lots of traffic. It's a city of a ton of energy and culture, it's also a very diverse city. You could get the big city energy in Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. Staten Island is a little different then the four other boroughs, it doesn't feature the famous subway system (it does have a train that only runs on the island though) but it starts as an urban area then the more south and west you go you'll run into horse farms and open areas.

New York the city or New York the state? There are differences and one includes the other.

New York City is tough but pretty. It's jazz, it's pizzazz, refined razzamatazz. New York is fast-paced, strong, never sleeps, glitzy but not chintzy, refined but not Euro-trash.

New York is an international metropolis, it's a technological megapolis. NYC is the best, it's the coolest, it's the toughest, it's the smartest city all around. New York is the Rome of the global village, it's the Constantinople of the New World, it's the gateway from Europe to the United States.

New York is my desired state of mind, it's an elegant way to grind. NYC is the city for me, it's the urb for him and her and thee. New York is for lovers, it's a good place for busy-ness and business. However New York is a great place to party, to hob nob, to shmooze and choose the way you want to live.

I love New York.

That depends on what part of New York you want described. I come from a nice little town, we have our drug problems, and some problem citizens...but who dont. For the most part NY is a beautiful state, rolling hills and some mountain streams. Wonderful wildlife and a whole bunch of ppl who are friendly and courteous, there are those who ruin it for everyone and give us a bad name.

Just dont let just one description do it for you...take them all and put them together, but better yet...come over to the state and see for yourself...we have Niagara Falls....We are the home of the Bills and Sabres (Jets and Giants play in NJ)

well, i have been to new york only once (around 9/11) and all i can say from my experience is that it is a very exciting city. there is so much to do there!!

Hey i used to live in New york so dont give it a bad rap! New york in places like Brooklyn and Manhattan are dirty, but the sights in Manhattan are really nice. Upstate New York is much more clean.

Busy and Loud haha situations sq. is as colourful and shiny as Disneyland The subway is a nightmare, its as brutal as a coarse sea you will in no way understand there have been regulations to creating use of, something is going on their roads, crossing is a nightmare.
