I've had a lot of dreams about driving. I never get in a wreck or get hurt but I am always in a precarious situation.

Once I dreamed that i was driving at night w/ no headlights on and there were no street lights. It was like having my eyes closed.

Another time I dreamed I was the only one on a highway driving w/out my headlights on. I panicked when I noticed the lights were not on in my dash.

Twice I have dreamed I drove up a hill and went free falling in my car over the top. Once I was falling down a waterfall; the other time I was falling in darkness. But I never got hurt.

If it helps, I have been in 5 car wrecks---4 of them have been me getting rear-ended. I am a very nervous driver.

It has nothing to do with having been in so many accidents, you are in the "driver's seat" in your car, this is about your direction in life, your life's journey, you don't have lights on, because you can't see you life path or direction clearly............

Your car accident experience may affect the way the dream is brought to you, ie driving the car, however it has nothing to do with its significance.
Your dreams mean that you feel overwhelmed by life, so many things and no direction as where to go, you don't have any signs or ideas and nothing is helping you figure out what to do. This is to do with the headlights and dashboard lights off.
Falling means fear, anticipated failure, you are worried about not accomplishing something and are afraid that you will crash (fail in awake life).
I'm sure we've all had our share of those dreams. Usually they come around early twenties, and as your life stablilizes so do the dreams. Slowly they go away and you realize that you're accomplishing everything you wanted in life or changed what was important to you and accomplishing different goals that you've set for yourself. The dreams go away as you realize there was nothing to worry about in the first place. :)))

I'm not sure what your dream means but years ago I repeatedly had the same dream of riding my bike and couldn't keep my eyes open, obviously it was hard to see. I haven't had a dream like that in years but I never did figure out it's significance.

You feel as though your life has no direction and you are unsure as to what to do. Your fear is from not knowing the end result of each path you might take. Your dreams are telling you that no matter what you do you will be OK. We are not suppose to know the outcome of each path but rest assured that you will be were you should be.

You've obviously totally missed the point ! It's all about going back to the DARK ages ... that means leaving the car in the garage & putting a saddle on the horse !

Dreaming of driving means )if ur driving) that you r in the driver seat of real life.. that ur in control of ur life.. wanting to be or independent... seems like your doing things in ur life blindly..

Gosh, that's scary. Maybe the dream means you might get into a car crash or something.
