90% of the people are going to say "Yes, take to vet ASAP" or that it's too much protein. Even a vet or manufacturer will say so, yet honestly: No, you don't have to worry more than 2 cents. The only troubles could be: throwing up or bad breath, and with it mostly corn and gluten and by - products, it's not a very absorbent food, so: you'll have more poop to clean up, but that's about all. Too much protein and too little fat can cause diarrhea at times if they're not quality sources, or yet: you'll have to let him out more. --Nothing terrible.

RE:
My dog ate about a cup of cat food, should I worry?
My minature dauchshund just got into the cat's food. It was Iam's digestive dry formula for cats and she ate about a cup of it. Do I need to worry about her health? She is a very healthy dog normally. It has been about 2 hours and so far she seems ok.
(and, yes, I have already found a...

Dogs eating cat food isn't a big deal. I've had friends whose dogs tend to chow down on cat food on a regular basis and they were fine. They worried at first as well and were told by their vet that it's not a big deal. Cat's consistently eating dog food is more of a concern because the dog food lacks many of the nutrients cats needs that dogs don't.

a small bit of cat food as a treat will not cause harm. Its good to use to sneak a pill- cat food has a stronger odor than dog food, so it masks the pill. Most dogs will gobble down cat food quickly. however cat food is far too rich to be used as part of a regular diet. stop adding things to your dogs food, you are causing him to be picky. Put his dog food down- ONLY his dog food. Leave it there for 15 minutes. If he doesnt eat, then pick it up and offer NOTHING else until his next scheduled meal. He will eventually get hungry and eat. If you keep offering other things, then he will hold out and wait for you to offer something "better"

The food will not kill or harm your dog but, do not let this be a regular thing because it can cause long term health problems.
The thing it may do is give him diahrrea or an upset stomach.
Cat food is meant for cats.

Cat food has a little higher protein but there is no problem at all.
A cat eating dog food as a steady diet would not be good because cats need a higher protein diet , but a little would not hurt them ether.

Dog training are excellent and very helpful to build you a stronger relationship with your dog. Read more https://tinyurl.im/xsufW
After I started training my dog, he became very attached to me and loves to stay by side as long as he can. But just going to them won't help. You have to practice what they teach you outside of the class and you need to keep up with it at least every now and then after the class ends otherwise they'll just go back to previous habits. This course is a really good place to go for dog obedience classes. It get's your dog around other people and dogs to socialize while getting the training you need. As for electric collars, I would say to not get one. In my experience, they're only a negative effect on your dog. I mean of course you're going to need to correct your dog, but being positive and encouraging your dog works a lot faster and easier.
Every dog is different, so unless you have a german shepherd or a really smart dog, it might take a while to train her. You might get frustrated with her, but go easy. She's still a puppy and has a lot of energy. A backyard or somewhere to run will help her get rid of a lot of energy that might cause her to misbehave from boredom.

No, don't worry. I have a Pom that always used to sneak and eat my cat's food. The vet said that there is more fat in cat food than dog food which makes it taste better. The only thing he said was that it may give them diarrhea. It never did give diarrhea to my pom and he still eats it sometimes. Don't worry.
