If you weren't givin the Software CD and the package that it came in then you do not have Microsoft Office. What you have is a 30 Day trial of the Software that was downloaded on your computer. You have one of a couple of choices. You can contact where you bought your computer and ask them for the Office CD that includes the packaging and the product key. or you can go out and purchase it. You see this is not unusual when buying some brands of computers they do this to make there computers look more inviting to customers that come with the high dollar software. Go back and check your paperwork that came with your computer and if it doesn't say anything about the trial version then you have a chamce of making them furnish you with the CD and the Code Key. However if it mentions Trial Version there isn't any option except to buy it.

If you bought Microsoft Office, then it came with a product key. Look for it on the container. If you're using a copy that you didn't buy, then you're using pirated software which is illegal.

If you bought the software legitimately, then the code should be somewhere on the box, CD case, or CD itself.
It could also be on the manual.
If you bought it too long ago or threw these away, there's not much you can do.
Try the library.

I suppose you should look at the sticker on your CD case. Failing that, check the data that came with your computer.

If that fails, download the lookalike program from openoffice.org and use that to do your homework.

Most likely it was a 30 day free trial. Either pony up or download openoffice.

I guess you'll have to purchase the product key.
