why is there a meaning for music, why does it matter. is there a reason you listen to music if what give me why music matters to you?

Good music stimulates our emotions.

I stress the word GOOD music.

music does stir emotions, brings back memories, and just generally makes you feel good. just like a smile turning away wrath, a happy song makes you smile even when you don't feel like it. some songs are about beautiful things, some are sad, and some tell a story. some are played so well that you can't help but admire the persons skill playing it. music soothes the savage breast.

Music can turn a really bad day into a bearable day, just by listening to a song that reminds you of a good time you had while listening to it, music is very important

Music can pump you up when you're under the bar trying to press 260. It can make you feel good and forget about a bad day. It can make you feel sexual, funny, empowered...

Music is deep. It's relevant. It can be superfical, or incredibly potent. It is a beautiful abstraction that can be measured and written down. And it speaks to all of humanity.

I listen to praise and worship music because it lifts me up and glorifies God. Satan was in charge of praise and worship before he chose to rebel, when we praise and worship with music we are taking over his old job. Shoving it in his face.

Music gives auditory pleasure. One of the senses. Either you love it or you don't, but I think that most people love music. It's candy for the ears.
