Well I really have not seen a lot Catholics beating up Protestants here. But I do agree that Rome itself may be the great whore or Mystery Babylon. Rome under Nero and other evil leaders murdered millions of saints in the early days of Christianity, and then the Roman Catholic Church from 1184 to the mid 1800's also murdered millions in the Inquisition . The cumlative total is upwards of 60 million saints. What other city has been that drunk on the blood of the saints? certainly not New York,or Jerusalem as some have theorized.

Now with that said I dont wish to alienate Catholics, although I know most will be offended at this . I am not condemning Catholics here. I have read some Catholic authors , who I am certain are true Christians from the evidence of the Holy Spirit living in their hearts. I just can not imagine some of the writings I have read coming from an unsaved soul. Also I have met Catholic believers who love Jesus. Jesus said ye shall know them by their fruit . I know these by their fruit. So I am not one to say that Catholics are not saved. That is the Job of Jesus. But I do say that many of the teachings of the Catholic Church are out and out false and wrong. Now to back up both my belief that Rome is the Harlot and that there are saved people with in the Catholic Church I give you these 2 scriptures.....

I dont think I am any better than you are, and I love you as brothers in Christ. I plead with you to come away from her now lest you be caught up with her fornications. Since the Catholic Church was the first Christian church ( per Jesus), does it not follow that all other versions are an editted version of the church? Since the Catholic church had the first bibles, does it not follow that all Protestant bibles are derived from the Catholic Bible, and are editted versions?
