No. Food is solid material. But water is an absolute necessity to keep healthy & hydrate your cells. I drink alot of spring water, won't drink tap water, & I very rarely get sick. Not even a cold.

water isnt a food. but you can live about 3 days on only water. so you still need it to live.

Well, sort of. Your body needs it. But it doesn't have any nutritive value - no calories, no vitamins (except for Vitamin water), no nothing - so it's not technically considered a food.

But it's great for you - so drink a lot of it.
