I knew my wife since 6th grade. No joke. But even then, we held our values and standards strongs. Sixteen years later, after four years of finally dating and courting, I asked her to be my wife.
And to this day, we are happy, particularly for remaining true to one another. Though not everyday is a good day, I wouldn't be able to breathe knowing she isn't alive.
I guess the ole sayin' is true. You marry your best friend. My wife is in fact my best friend. Through tears and cheers, we have vowed to stick one another until death do us part.

Not me personally, but my friend's boyfriend moved in with her 2 months after they MET...not started dating, but MET. I thought that was a little too soon, but they're still together after 9 months so it looks like things are going well for them.

It depens on how you both feel...some people want to get married right away, and others want to wait it out and see if they are actually right for eachother!
