well its certainly not heaven, though you have the power to decide how bad this plpace can be. I think that we are indeed dead in a sense and waiting to be born into the wonderful glory of the eternal spirit that is everlasting. Our existence within this body of mainly water, like the water of child birth is only temporary and when this earthly body expires our eternal energy will join the beauty of the all and we will know what it means to be set free and be a flower, a rain drop, moon beam or sun beam. How we view our time between now and then depends on the ooutlook we choose. Rejoice in the rfaith that we will be free soon enough.

no ((((sail)))
hell is described as a place of unimaginable suffering and pain. Indescribable longing and defeat... unbearable stench, rotting flesh, worms, fire, smoke, sulfur etc...
There was a tape I watched recently where a tour was being taken in and around the ancient ruins of Israel. Outside the city gates in ancient times, it was explained, there was a huge pit where every waste was thrown... garbage, carcasses, waste etc.. .and through the city and out the gates there ran a trench which collected all the sewage and muck of the city, and it ran directly into this pit. The pit is seeped in stench and methane, and constantly there are fires burning. There are references in ancient texts that this place is the closest descriptive place that describes what hell will be.
There is no doubt that there is much suffering and pain here in this life on earth. But I don't believe for a second that the pain and suffereing we are experiencing even comes close to what hell really is.
blessings always to you :)))

Heaven or Hell is what you make it to be. If you believe you are in Hell, you probably are although your Hell maybe Heaven to someone else.

Hell is waaay worse. You probably can't even compare the two. This world may have disappointments and it's faults, but hell is even worse. So the answer is: No, we are not living in hell. I agree with user "K for Him"

I suggest that you read 2 Peter 2 and know that this is not hell but by our life, our actions and our beliefs we can choose to be thrown into hell at the time of Judgement.
Also read Revelations - it should scare the hell out of you. BUT with God all things are possible and He is a loving, giving merciful God who wants us all in Heaven with Him. All we have to do is obey God, believe Jesus is our Savior, beg forgiveness of our sins and be ready.
Eternity is a very long time, in fact it is forever and ever Amen!!

With all the world's religions fighting with each other, each proclaiming their religion is the one true one and most trying to impose their beliefs and morality on the rest of us, it sure feels like hell to me.
