Well, then you've just called something "God", but that doesn't make it God.

There's a French piece of artwork, a drawing of a pipe and it says "Ceci n'est pas une pipe (This is not a pipe)". The point of it is that it is what it is, and calling it a pipe or 'une pipe' doesn't change its nature or its essence.

Name's are arbitrarily given. If we ignore spelling, "hair" and "hare" are phonetically exactly the same (unless you live in Long Island) but describe different concepts. If I called a stapler a 'hair/hare', does that mean that it's the same thing as either one of them?

If you believe in the existence of your construed abstraction, "God", and believe that it indeed holds the essence of God (the concept, not necessarily one religion or another's specific belief), then you are no longer atheist.

Meh, If I decided to use the word 'purple' to describe things that are orange, does that mean basketballs are purple? Or Is it just word play? It's up to you.

It's like naming my chair 'God'. Now, my chair definatly, proovably exists as far as our obsevable reality is concerned, so by naming my chair 'God' have I proven that God exists?

Yes unless you believe in it, worship it, and know that it loves you.

As long as it's a name and not a belief in it.
