Thanks everyone. My partner was only 38 and he doesnt have any adopted siblings or aunts etc this was my main reason to find out if i could contact his birth mother on behalf of our 20mnth old son.Thank you all for your kind sentiments too, I am totally heartbroken.

I suggest you contact your local social services.....from persoal experience i know that the adoption agencies are very cagy about giving out this kind of information for obvious reasons.....dont expect a quick answer.....suggest also you contact salvation army & norcap
