I would say football is a much gentler way to pass the time. Anyone on R&S who is running with the ball is going to get attacked by both teams. At least in football, ten are supposed to me your team mates!

One of the 10 Commandments is:
But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, or your son or your daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or any of your livestock, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.
OR
Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.

I suppose if you attend church in the morning and show your faithfulness to God, it is fine to watch football in the afternoon. It would be even better if you turned off the sound during commercials and read scripture, say a prayer or sing a hymn. God Bless all you football fans, you can make a difference in the world by following and obeying God's law even while enjoying yourself.

I have had Football on the TV all day, I have also been on the computer all day,.
right now I am watching the previews, because I never paid enough attention to the games to know who won what game.

I guess you guy are more important to me than ever football.

Not for me, I don't like football but if I did I'm sure I could multi-task and do both.
I mean all they do is kick the ball, pile on top of each other then stop for what seems like an hour.
Baseball is the game.

I live for football season. My Sunday's during that time consist of church in the morning and then football the rest of the day.
