The ASVAB doesn't have a lot of math in it. It's not as hard as a the SAT. Your will be tested in general math and those scores will only matter if you are trying to get into an MOS with high math requirements like artillery or machinist. An infantry man won't need much math.
You seem to be able to form coherent sentences so you should be easily able to score a 50 or better on the test. You just need self confidence. The Army will give you that.

Yes, the ASVAB is timed and you can't use a calculator. The test isn't too bad but that depends on your test taking skills and general knowledge of various subjects. I recommend getting one of these prep books
It can make a big difference in how well you do since you'll know exactly what to expect on the test. The higher your score, the more opportunities you'll have and the better jobs you can qualify for so don't take the test lightly just because some people say it's easy. There's a big difference between doing okay and doing extremely well.
The prep/study book will get you used to the timing of the test so you know how long to spend on each question and get used to the time pressure you'll be under. They give you everything you need to know to do well. Good luck!

Absolutely not.
This is from the Army's rules, AR 601-222, Chapter 2, Paragraph n:
"Applicants detected receiving or using unauthorized assistance (crib sheets, talking during the test, gazing onto a
neighbor’s test, and so forth), or using other devious means (such as working on a portion of the test other than the one
being administered or using a calculator, slide rule, cellular telephone, electronic translator, or other mechanical device)
will not be allowed to continue to test; or, if testing is complete, their test results will be invalidated."

When I enlisted calculators didn't exist yet. We couldn't bring slide rules into the testing room though.

no its not allowed. I would suggest you go to allexperts.com, click, jobs/careers, click u.s. military under gov, click Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard, and ask one of these guys any question you might have. The service is completely free and these guys will not lie to you.
On top of that id suggest you get as much info off the Internet as passable on joining and the field you want to get into.

no calculators allowed, but you are provided scratch paper, and it is collected along with the test itself.
