You got all that out of the Book of Revelations did ya? For your information the Book of Revelations is all about the Mass which is the Salvation history in it's entirety. If you really want to do some research read Scott Hahn's book "The Lamb's Supper" He was an Evangelical who set out to prove the Catholic Church wrong with history and researching the Early Church Fathers and lo and behold he ended up a Catholic. The Book of Revelation is the Revelation of a Catholic, St. John. He sees what it all is on the Lord's Day when he is taken up into Heaven which every practicing Catholic is during the Mass. They are present during the Wedding Banquet while they are still living on Earth during Mass and when their body dies they are changed in the "twinkling of an eye".

We are on the same side here so of course my answer is yes. I wonder how many Protestants have looked at the parts Luther took out of the original bible, parts of wisdom and so on? There are so many questions in YA about the original bible, I would think a good bible reader would like to make up their own mind about those excluded books.

I am a Protestant and I would have to agree with you. I have been reading the Apocrypha on the net.. Very interesting I now see where the idea of purgatory isn't just fished out of the air. Ignorance is a terrible thing.

People don't read the bible for one reason only – they're lazy. Any Catholic can walk into a book store and buy a bible. Any Protestant can read the bible version of their choice. Your question lacks sound reasoning.

That's a silly question. We do not restrict reading to just the king james version. Some people do, but most do not. I have the kjv, nasb, and niv. I read all three versions.

You should go ask people of these faiths that you know. Getting your answer from them will be more accurate.

The Catholic Church is very good at banning books. It's all to do with control over minds.
