Hello everyone
Tomorrow, Monday October 15th, will be my girlfriend and my one month anniversary. I wanted to do something special to show her that I care about her, but I am not sure how to approach this. Should I give her a small gift, and take her out to dinner? or should I go a little bit in - depth, being the first time is always special.

We are both currently in high school, and I had an idea in mind. Her favorite color is purple; so I was going to buy her a single, purple rose and tie a note to it. I was planning on placing this rose on her locker, and the note saying something simple. "Happy one month, from your secret admirer." Then, later that evening take her to a nice restaurant for dinner. My treat.

How does that idea pan out? and if anyone else has any ideas, please, do not hesitate to offer input. Thank you.

Well i really like that single purple rose on the locker but why the note from your secret admirer (Just simple one liner will makes her happy, Happy One Month Anniversary!) Do you have a special place at school. Maybe you can make a pinic lunch to show her how much her means to you.

Well, I'm having the same problem as you are buddy. We're also in high school, and I've been reading a few sites..that weren't that helpful. Some girls say it don't matter, some other people say..its only one month and u'll need to top it off every month..but the truth is..usually, your girlfriend chose you to be her boyfriend is because of who you are, not for your money or popularity. As for gifts, I'm sure you'll do fine for the purple rose in her locker, just make sure she sees it. I agree with the picnic at a special place, but it all depends on the weather. But don't stress too much on it, everything will be alright for you. Good luck =]

An Anniversary means you have been with her for a year....not a month.

But your rose idea is cute. My boyfriend did it for me and i loved it. Maybe have her go over your house and watch a movie with her. Dinner might be good too. But a one month isnt that big of a deal. Youll notice that the more you go out with her. I use to think it was the biggest thing but now ive been dating my boyfriend for over a year and realized there are things more important then the exact amount of months youve been with them. Doing cute things shouldnt just be limited to a one month "anniversary" or anything like that.

That is a great way to show her you care! You could also give her a necklace or a bracelet... girls always love jewelry!

Happy Dating!!
