Yes and no. The calcium in cheese is very healthy for your bones. But the fat content is not healthy for your cardiovascular system.

Eat cheesecake in moderation! Like no more than one slice per week.

Is Cheesecake Healthy

Not really, but I make a lower fat dessert with strawberries.
Basically hollow the strawberries out with a paring knife.

Mix up low fat cream cheese, 1/2 cup of icing sugar and juice of 1/2 lemon (depending on your taste)

Put the cheesecake mixture in a piping bag, and pipe into strawberries.

dunk the top of the starwberry/cheesecake mixture in cookie crumbs chill and serve.

It tastes great and is heaps healthier than traditional cheesecake

it is the way i make it, but i must tell you, it looks more like a cheese pancake then a regular cheesecake.

i use the traditional recipe and use low fat or fat free versions of everything. i use egg whites only. i use splenda. i make my own fuit topping using a bit of cornstarch and some stevia or splenda.

i make a graham cracker crust using smart balance and bit of cinammon and some splenda.

as a rule, no. But a small slice can be a part of a mixed, varied, and healthy diet.

No, its made with sugar cream cheese and eggs. It would basically be custard pie if you omitted the cream cheese.
