There's no such thing as a sweet spiky hair style.

use plenty of moose (not gel) then when you see what your going for break out the hair-dryer.. it will get stiff in a few seconds... what I used to do was put a shoepolish (that is just hair-dye on the top of the head) then work from there, all depends how much hair ya gotta work with.. really long.. just lay ya head down by a toiletseat.. flat surface & apply the final dry.. this way you know the spikes are gonna be leathal

There is no "sweet" spiky hair style. Spikes are out. No more spikes. Try a different style.

ahh how spiky i have some kik *** spiky spikes well all u have to have in ROUGH hair and comb ur hair back until it stands up by itself process may take a while and tha results are kik *** heres a pik of MEH

When your hair is wet, run gel through it and then take pieces of your hair and twist them into spikes. I'm not a boy so I don't know of anyway else to do it. I just watch my brothers.

he is kinda small, so anything he can do be cool helps I think

You should go for the messy look, not the straight up spikes. Just run jell through your hair until you like how it looks.

Liberty spikes (you could even color them with dry jell-o or kool-aid) or a mohawk.
Got2Be Glued (Target) (the spray, not the goop) will hold just about ANYTHING, but it washes right out.

OK...spiky styles are not really cool.......girls like guys that have longer shaggier cuts.
