No, I am not trying to irk anyone here, but seriously. Look at throughout history, out of the 3 big religions ( Christians, Jews, Muslims), it is the Jews who have never tried to wipe out another people or religion, nor have the Jews waged "religious wars". Remember the Crusades? Muslims and Christians killed each other, and the Jews, whose own land was being fought over, remained peaceful and did nothing. Then Christian knights slaughtered over 150,000 Jews either on the way to Jerusalem, in Jerusalem, or on the way from Jerusalem. Then the Muslims also killed Jews and Christians when they re-took the City, believing the Jews to have sided with the Crusaders ( Jews did not side with either faction). Then we have the Arab religious wars, the Mamelukes, Seljuks, Ottomans, and all those Muslim regimes that slaughtered Jews and Christians on a huge scale to "purify the world for Islam". England turned out its Jews in 1290, France 100 years later, then Spain. Pogroms all over Europe.

The Chimielniki revolts in Ukraine, where up to 500,000 Jews were killed. Then the Muslim rules being racist to all non-Muslims and forcing them to convert or die. And we can’t forget WWII, where the Christians (face it, it was Christians even if at the time it was to be National Atheism or something) murdered 6,000,000 Jews and the Muslims who allied with the Germans joyously helped.
In all seriousness, why are Christians and Muslims so violent and racist throughout history? Ive seen the Koran, Ive seen what is written there, but what about Christianity? What happened to “turn the other cheek” and all that stuff? Why the hatred of non-Christians, Christians? Why the hatred of non-Muslims, Muslims?

Crusades _ only catholics_ they were led by the pope so as far as I'm concerned that's not complete Christianity. And back then people weren't allowed to read the bible, only the "selected"ones could read it and obviously interpreted it wrong.

WWII- if you are saying that Christians were the ones doing all the killing you are wrong- if you are referring to the Jewish German killed by Americans well there were Americans that were Jewish that killed them two, if you are referring to the Germans killing Jews, which most people consider the Germans of that time christian so I understand your confusion, the Germans that did the killing weren't actually Christians, many were just tolerates or said they were Christians but were really fooling themselves

sometimes history refers to a religion as doing a terrible thing but the reason i believe them to be incorrect is because they aren't looking at the uncorrupted version of that religion, they simply believe anyone that says they are a Cristian is a Cristian.
GOOD QUESTION THOUGH!

As for your claim that the jews never wiped out other people, have you forgotten the taking of the promised land? The death of the Amalekites? The war against the Philistines?

But look at NOW. Today. Christians do not kill by the droves any longer. And indeed, the ones during the crusades killed in the name of Christ, but they were far from being Christians. To be a Christian is to FOLLOW Christ. To obey His commandments. To live a holy life, as instructed to do by Christ Himself!
No, today it is the muslims, and followers of Islam as a whole that are persecuting and killing Christians by the scores. It is happening all over the Middle East, Africa, anywhere that Islam is dominant. See for yourself at :

Sorry to burst your bubble. Get your facts straight before you post.

As a member of the Islamic faith i am neither violent nor racist. I was neither of these things before i became a Muslim and there has been nothing not one thing that i have studied, read or been taught in the Islamic faith that teaches or promotes either. Quite the contrary. We are all equal every race, nationality and colour. We are taught to kill one person is like killing all of mankind. And i think you seriously need to restudy if you think Jews are not violent. Shooting children in streets as they hide behind there father. I dont know about you but i consider that violent. The world was built on battles for every nation and every faith and every race. No one is exempt and no one is responsible for the sins of there father no matter what there faith or lack of.

I myself am a Christian who is studying Hebrew on my own and have prayed for Israel for many years. My cousin married a Jew after switching to Judaism, and as a grafted in Christian to the olive tree, I sincerly hope that Adonai will open your heart and transform it from heart of stone to a heart of flesh.
Yes, many in the name of Christianity have killed Jews. Politicians and those professing Christians who were not true Christians at all have gone and done evil against the Lord by going against His chosen people before the new covenant.

Barukh attah Adonai eloheinu melekh ha-olam,
asher natan lanu et derekh ha-yeshua'
bamashiach Yeshua, barukh hu. Amen.

Gosh, you have to reach that far back to make your point?

What are you, yourself--not a Christian or a Muslim, maybe a Jew? A Buddhist? An atheist or agnostic?

Any number of these groups have been and are rascist and violent. And many many MANY more are not.

No, you're not trying to irk anyone (yeah, right), but are you trying to make a positive difference in anything?

Fingerpointing never helped anyone. So take your little pointy finger and put it back in your pocket. (I was going to say, your nose, but I don't want to irk anyone.)

When you settle down and grow up a bit, perhaps you can read history more objectively and then experience (and maybe even contribute to) the community today. If not, you are as useless as those you spent all that energy condemning.

At present, you are showing your own ignorance and your own violence and racism....

And don't email me and continue this either.

The spirit of sin in man from the fall of man. God desires justice and mercy not murder and death. Read judges and Moses brother Aron if you think Jewish people didn't kill anyone.

I agree with the guy above. It's not religion, just those who use it as an excuse. They think it's a good and eligible reason to kill the people they don't like. Perhaps the Jewish people realize they can't hide behind the name of God.

The events we see today are just more examples of the fact that you can take anything and twist it into what you want. The same thing that is happening now has happened before.

Prime example, the KKK, and other "religious" groups that have taken passages far out of context.

To be a Christian you must follow Christ (who was a Jew btw) and he taught that murder was punishable by hell fire and that hatred was equivalent to murder. You seem to redefine what it means to be a Christian. "Many will say to me 'Lord, Lord' but I will say to them, 'Depart from me...'"
