My 3rd grader loves Hank Zipzer books writen by Henry Winkler. He has read them all. He likes these books because they are about kids his age doing regular life things. Does anyone have any other books that are about boys doing boys things around the age of 9 - 11?

The Hardy Boys are great books. He is about the right age for those. I don't know if these books are still in print, but when I was in grade school the book "Tales of a 4th grade nothing" and the sequel "Super Fudge" were popular. They are about a 4th grade boy dealing with his rambunctious younger brother.

Magic Tree House books are popular. The kids in the book are about his age but they travel back in time which is neat.
