my bff & i went to each others' homecomings because neither of us had a date. when we went out to dinner before HC, 2 girls & a guy came with us. supposedly, the guy had a "thing" with one of the girls but they werent going out. as the night went on, the guy started flirting with me & i flirted back, but i didnt want to ruin anything between the guy & girl. so i talked to the girl about it, & she said the "thing" they had had been over for a few weeks & she wasnt mad at me for dancing with him. apparently, that was a lie, according to my bff. i also asked the guy what he felt & encouraged him to do whatever he had to do so she wouldnt be mad at him. he said he didnt care if she was mad at him & that their "thing" was over. while we were dancing to a slow song, he kissed me & i kissed him back. this happened several times.
i thought i had covered everything & made sure no one's feelings were going to be hurt, but now my best friend & the girl are mad at me.
please help!!
