The Bible does not say that abortion is a sin. God commanded his followers to kill and rip open pregnant women (Numbers 31:17, Ezekiel 9:6, Hosea 13:16), and killed millions of pregnant women himself (Flood & Plagues). There are even Biblical instructions on how to abort the pregnancy of a woman who is suspected of being unfaithful (Numbers 5:12-31).
According to the Bible, man became a living soul when the BREATH of life was BREATHED into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Fetuses do NOT breathe through their nostrils until after BIRTH. In Biblical times, male babies were not counted as persons until they were a month old, and female babies were not counted at all (Numbers 3:15). The Bible also says that some would be better off if they had never been born (Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24). A woman can choose whether or not to believe the Bible when making her own personal decision, but it is not legal to use religion to make laws.
what do you say now?

I'd say you are twisting scriptures since you asked.
First off, The times in war when women and men would be killed is because they were evil to the core, not because they needed an abortion. They died because of their choice , they turned their back to God , pregnant or not.
As far as the verses in Numbers 5,This is clearly a way for a man identify whether or not his wife has been unfaithful.
The womans belly will swell because they took the dust of the floor and made her to consume it with water ,if she is free of any wrong doing she will be of good health, But if she has sinned against her husband, She will become very sick , Because even the dust off of the floor was so powerful that it could not be contained in a sinfull body.
This verse DOES NOT say how to preform a abortion.
Now I say you should learn to study what is written , and not quote what is not there.

I'd rather be a 'Bible thumper' than a 'grave digger.'
It does not matter what I believe about abortion. You have made up your mind and will not be swayed. You have made that clear. You have also cherry-picked Scripture to use to inflame the issue even more. Research is an amazing tool and not all websites are created honestly, truthfully, or equally. Try reading the Bible and all the words, not just a select few. Ignorance is not a compliment.

The question is simply when does life begin. I suppose that in Biblical times infant mortality was so great that they waited a month but today, that same mortality rate is achieved by babies born months early.
As a society, we have the right to make that decision through our elected officials. I vote for an earlier age rather than a later one because I want to emphasize the sanctity of life. Don't you believe that life is sacred?

The Old Testament dealt with sin a lot. And the example of the Law of Moses was to judge it. To be unbending and strict about it. That's why there is so much blood in the Old Testament. It was showing people what God's wrath was like.
The New Testament, is showing what God's grace is like. His love. And those who get on the right side of that, can be at peace with God. Those who do not respond to His call, are going to face a similar wrath that those in the Old Testament suffered.
So with abortion, Christians tend to lean towards love and grace. We are taught that by God through His Spirit.
So abortion is not a very loving thing to do , isn't that true?
The one who should be willing to give her life for her sons and daughters, falls short. And she ends up being the one who betrays her child to the hands of an executioner! A most unnatural, deceiving, murderous, and hateful thing to do to your own child.

so a strategies as i will comprehend the 1st 3 verses you suggested have no longer something to do with women human beings figuring out directly to kill their little ones, it has to do with exterminating evil countries-even the girls human beings and their little ones. In numbers i do no longer see them explaning a thank you to abort something. they defined how they used to tell if a women human beings became into untrue (which could be the loss of life penalty). confident, whilst God breathed into his nostrils it became into the 1st time adam (first guy) became into alive. because he did no longer have a mom's womb then needless to say that became into the only way he might desire to breath. that doesn't propose that anyone isn't alive till they breath out of their nostrils, it basically potential that became into the fist time Adam lived. additionally the little ones did no longer count quantity for their sensus. probable because of the fact lower back then no longer many little ones made it to adulthood. In history alot of cases they does not count quantity women human beings era in a sensus. that doesn't propose that they do no longer count quantity as human beings. on your final element, in all honesty we'd be greater useful off in the event that they have been by no potential born because of the fact they ended up being evil human beings. it is not asserting we can kill our unborn little ones because of the fact no person is acquainted with what a guy or woman is going to finally end up like till now they're even born. in case you have an activity approximately pre-born life interior the bible you could examine out a number of those verses: activity 31:15, psalm 22:9-10, Isaiah 40 six:3-4, Isaiah 40 9:5 Jeremiah a million:4-5. i could propose you examine a splash greater of the books from verses you published so which you would be able to get the ideal context.

Fine examples of why a rational, intelligent person who actually reads the Bible will find it to be an unacceptable basis for a life philosophy.

The majority of Christians have never read the Bible. Even if it said "and God said let you goeth out and get an abortion" They wouldn't know. They just like to feel righteous and high and mighty and abortion seems like a good cause for them.
The world is full of ignorant, sad little individuals. What can you do?

I say that you are arguing for a heartless and cruel act. It is the killing of a child for no other reason than the fact that you do not want the responsibility of raising a child that you produced by other irresponsible acts, and therein lies the evil.
