I got my hair cut yesterday and i hate it. The girl DID NOT listen to anything i said and i hate it. For the first time in years she cut my layers dead straight and blunt and I think this is my main problem it feels like a block. I have always had layers but they have always been point cut so they are not dead blunt. If i was to get these horrible blunt lines chipped into will it help to soften the style a bit? Also i do not want it to look even a millimetre shorter as it is already about an inch too short for me now? Thanks guys

Since you don't like it, def get it chipped into. I always advice people to get it straight across but it's up to each individual. If it's too short, go ahead and leave it be. It'll grow back soon enough. Also, since I can't see your hair, ask a trusted friend what she thinks and let that help you decide if you should keep it, or do something else. Hope that helps.

ok surely. I easily have had layerd hair cuts for about 4 365 days now. in case you dont opt for short hair this isnt the style. youll reall imagine that its short or youll opt for it one length or you wont imagine its growing to be so once you've your required length then do no longer i repeat do no longer decrease on the bottom start up the layers like 3 inches up or so than take your layers a short as you opt for

layers should always be cut by chipping, all hair should, you should never cut it straight across, that will create split ends way faster, especailly with a straightener

even if you give it a couple of weeks to grow out it will look a little smoother- maybe then get it cut evenly with layers

try doing something new with it then. flip it out, or gel it into funki pieces. try styling it a new way and maybe youll like it more. it will grow back soon anyway. accesorize you hair too. be fun with it.

go back and have them fix it. you deserve to get what you wanted. besides, they might want to know how many people are dissatisfied with that person.
