Where is your recruiter when you need him??? You more than likely will need to wait for him to call or for you to recieve a letter from him. This way you will get the correct address. i sent my hubby something everyday. Pictures, letters, NO CARE PACKAGES!(meaning food) They will dump it out in the garbage, save that for deployments (there will be plenty). Dont send inappropriate photos either, unless you want everyone to see what you look like :(. Bootcamp is tough, they dont allow much time for letter writing or phone calls. I think I only got 2 calls in the 2 1/2 months he was gone and they are short! The best piece of advice I can give you, is to support your man, this time can make or break your relationship. Hang in there, it's tough. Joining the Navy was so beneficial to my marriage. It made us realize how much we love eachother and not to let the little things get to us. Good luck to you! Also, go to Barnes and Noble and pick up a book called "Married to the Military". Biggest piece of info you can get right now.

nothing that you wouldn't want your sainted Great Aunt Sadie to see. NO porn, or risque poses.

however: DO NOT SEND FOOD!!!! that will get him into a lot of trouble. back when mine went through, he couldn't even receive the sports page. No magazines, no comics, no news of the outside world.

Just remember he was almost zero privacy nor space to store stuff. letters: Good. 5X7 photos in frame: Bad.

Are you allowed to, or is he waiting to have it? sure. basically given which you may does no longer recommend you may desire to. do no longer! Wait until he's in 'A' college to deliver it. he's basically too busy suitable now to think of very a lot approximately something and he does not prefer yet another reason to pass over you. Plus he's residing in very close quarters with different adult men, lots of whom are extremely out of highschool and are immature. on an analogous time because it relatively is loving out of your attitude it ought to reason him greater issues than you may think of. he's in boot camp, no longer on an distant places deployment. At this element he does not prefer a reminder of what he has at domicile to maintain him devoted. Wait. it is going to likely be greater advantageous.

Yes you can. And I highly encourage it. Mail is by far the biggest motivator to a tropp in training or deployed. Having your name called during mail call, feels fantastic.

you can send him pictures, however be aware that all pics are screened, and instructors love to make fun of recruits gf/wives/family in order to frustrate them and make their life that much more difficult in recruit training, so if your husnad is sensitive to verbal abuse, dont send him anything, unless he asks you for them, pornographic pics will get confiscated (end up in some instructors desk for several months to gawk at) and due to constant privacy space harrasment and intrusive inspections of private property during recruit training, the pictures usually end up on the floor somewhere or thrwon around and lost/thrown away, and once an instructor made my platoon dumpo all our belongings in the middle of the floor and wet everything with a water hose (the prick called it wet weather training) so in short, wait for him to ask you for them, or ask him if he wasnts you to send some

He is to busy running his asp off to write to you. Keeping him
busy, leaves him less time to get "homesick." <|:-})-{*
