My thanks to all those who got the joke.

Quote----------"The 80,000 foreign workers in Brunei generally work under difficult conditions and sometimes face abuse. Foreign household servants, for example, reportedly are often denied rest days and forced to work very long hours. Some employers allegedly hold foreign household workers' passports to prevent them from leaving Brunei, and reports surface occasionally of employers physically abusing or refusing to pay their foreign servants"

I think I'll use this question as a party joke. I suspect you are using this question as a joke too. Love your sarcasm.

Do you want to convert into a muslim? Or just to go there for work? Or both of them? Well for me the best Islamic country to work and live is, State of Kuwait. I am from Southeast Asia and I've been here in Kuwait for more than 5 years. Kuwait is one of the best places in the world in terms of peace and income. Many Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. had converted into Islam. If you are are a Christian, yopu dont a have to worry because there are churches here in Kuwait.

Like UAE, Kuwait is also a well developed islamic state in the gulf. Every year more and more people, expatriates, businessmen and investors comes to Kuwait and the economy here is rising and rising every year, enough to attract laborer, skilled workers and investors from around the world. And Kuwait has the world's largest value of money, and world's largest per capita income.

So "welcome to Kuwait"

You can consider UAE, life is good in that country If you are professional or on technical trade, however no Islamic country offers permanent residence, everybody except their nationals are on temporary residents or expatriates.
If you are an ordinary worker, your rights will be limited.

I think it is all relative -- that is, better compared to what? If you mean more luxurious, you had better be very wealthy and male, and not care about women. Then go to someplace like Saudi Arabia.

Go ahead, but be sure to buy a one way ticket. You wouldn't want to come back to the States, after visiting there, I'm sure.
