Not sure how many painters normally do the job, doors, trim and ceailing would need to be done and the kitchen/master bathroom has a faux type paint. I guess I was way off when I thought it would take 2 painters 8 hours total?

It depends on several factors.

1. How many painters will be working on the job?
2. What type of prep is involved?
3. Are there repairs to be made before the painting is underway?
4. Does the paint job include trim and doors?

We own and operate a painting company and have 3 employees. If there were no repairs, only prime and paint, including trim and doors, It should not take us more than 4- 5 days, 8 hours a day. Tops.

8 hours would be tough. We had a 3300 sq. ft. home painted...walls, ceilings, trim, doors and it took two painters 11 days. They took everything down and moved the furniture in each room as they worked it, replaced everything and vacuumed. They did a superb job.

It depends, how is the area, interior, exterior, how many painters working, how much experience they have, is there any repair needs, etc.
